Morning to all champions, today I would love to share lessons I learned from the School of Legends leadership class led by Dr Princess Khunju in Evaton.

Give your goals deadline…

Many of us set goals yet not many are able to achieve their goals because goals without deadlines they are just wishes. If you want to be a billionaire or millionaire you need to be clear when do you want to achieve that. Clarity makes goals easier to be achieved.

A particular example, you have to be specific on when you will become the millionaire and even know how you will become it. Imagine if you wanted to go to Cape Town and you don’t know when and how you are going to get there, do you think you will ever make it to Cape Town? But on the other hand if I want to be in Cape Town on Thursday, I know I have to book a hotel and plane ticket for Wednesday & ideally I will be in Cape Town by Thursday. We ought to Make our Goals Specific.

Kusile* to our elders, sisters, brothers & football fanatics. Spring is on the horizon, indeed this can mean our days will be much longer given the sun will time take time to set.

Life through seasons…

Spring always heralds a new beginning like all seasons of nature. It brings excitement, an abundance of freshness & aura of hope. It allows for us all to let loose & revel in its promises. Our journey also can be compared to seasons, there is a season to put in the work like farmers plough the land & there is a season to have patience & persevere in the work we have put in. After ploughing the land farmers await the rain & sunlight so as to see the blossoming of their seeds. In all the sectors of our lives, education, work & business etc, we have to take a leaf out of nature’s way.

Results come through hard work & knowledge of the subject matter over a period of time. To all of us let us be inspired to be season orientated, let us not let our autumn moments further define our spring. If it did not work in winter reflect & improvise to see the results in the summer. Life was never meant to be static, it is a cycle like a rollercoaster ride that brings the joy, sadness, challenges & most important experience which lived through seasons can bring the best of us.

Until next week, lets Maintain the Balance

Two is better than one

Good afternoon fellow champions allow me to say kopano ke maatla.

”where there is unity there is always victory”_unknown

United we stand-divided we fall, everything on earth is build because of unity so is anything a person who desires to achieve it will come as a result of unity. Unity is being together having an agreement concerning same thing, having same mind towards specific goal. Every successful person gave birth to success as a result of unity for example, football stars such as Messi, Ronaldo to name few without their fellow team players on their side without collaboration there would not be were they are today.

When we collaborate we stand lots of chances of prospering because two minds are better than one. United whether in business or at school we can achieve many positive results. In most cases failure takes place as a result of disagreement especially when we choose to work with others concerning a specific goal we desire to achieve. If we want to achieve great things in our respected fields be it in sports, business, work, we ought to pursue unity. Walking a journey with someone who doesn’t see things like you do will delay you from reaching were you want to reach.

Mwauka bwanji* our elders, sisters, brothers & all football fanatics. In our journey of life we constantly need to consult with fellow beings in order to learn & better ourselves. This morning I would like to borrow on the quotes of fellow mankind with messages that can only inspire, teach and further propel us towards the realisation of our aspirations.

There is only one success – to be able to spend your life in your own way. – Christopher Morley

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes. – Mahatma Gandhi

“Along the journey of life, when we start isolating & losing touch with societal issues, we unfortunately embark on a long frustrating path which kills our conscience thus opening newfound destructive personal ills. We are on earth by ourselves, to help each other advance in our various spheres, society will always be an integral part of us, after all we are societal kids & members”- Moroke Bojosi

A good fresh morning to the generation of problem solvers & fellow fans of Vaal Diski 9~Nine. This morning I would like to share about an interesting subject.

EXPOSURE EXPANDS EXPECTATIONS…

When we expose ourselves to choices that make us leave our comfort zone that is when we begin to grow. Sometimes success its geographical, sometimes the skills or idea you have needs you to expose it and stop keeping it to yourself so it may grow and benefit others.
You can have a good idea or skill yet struggle were you are because your skill needs you to expose it to a different environment. Majority of people in life begin to experience success in their lives when they leave their comfort zone, comfort zone kills potential, it also kills dreams of many that can benefit the world. Leaving one’s comfort zone helps one to grow whilst making one a better person because one will get to learn more about oneself and things one is capable of doing.

If you are not happy were you are move because you are not a mountain. Mountain don’t grow but people do, we can only grow in life when we leave our comfort zone.

Ndi matsheloni* to our elders, brothers, sisters & all football fanatics. Today is the 15 of August, the 34th week of 2016. The challenge is not the amount of time that has passed but our deeds in that time, action counts no matter how small or big.

The battle has always been about the Mind…

As we usher in a new week God willing, what we were last week cannot be repeated but rather improved. We need not to change nor compromise our principles but we should always strive to transform ourselves on a daily basis which brings me to this week’s message. The biggest challenge we encounter on the spiritual & general front is the lack of thinking to move yet only moving before we think. A certain number of our football players have often fallen from grace due to fact that their thinking is still stuck in their previous ways. Do get me right, I am not a person who advocates for people forsaking where they come from but we to transform ourselves into better beings. Life can be compared to school, for every grade we ought to also be prepared to transform our thinking so as to  handle that particular grade & its requirements.

Fellow brothers & sisters, the battle once we our born has always been about the mind. Like a seed it needs constant watering to blossom, the transformation of the mind is pivotal because once transformed a lot of change occurs around even around us. When the late Steve Biko spoke of “the most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor,is the mind of the oppressed”, though he was politically analysing the situation then, his message  can relate to the mind of the addicted, those in debt & others having problematic behaviour. Ultimately we hold the remote of our lives & as such it starts with the mind.

YOUR DECISION DETERMINES YOUR OUTCOME.

Last week on this day was a day many political parties were anticipating been for a long time. Some were confident, some were not, ultimately on this day last politicians acknowledged that power was in the hands of the people.

Whatever the outcome will be determined by the people who would be voting. The outcome would be determined by individuals and the decision they have made. Elections teaches us that the decision we make today determine the future we create, hence its very important to understand the influence we have as individuals. As much we expect much from people we vote for we should also set expectations for our own lives. This will help many people especially the youth not to burn tyres or schools when there is no service delivery from parties they voted for we need to take ownership of our lives and shift away the blame if we can’t reach our expectations. Yes the future its in our hands  as like the vote we cast last week on this day & it will determine the future we create so we ought to choose wisely in all we do. Choices we make today will one day make us proud or complain, still the choice is ours. The very same power we hold to effect political transformation, still remains & we can use it to better our lives with or without help of political parties. OUR DECISIONS DETERMINE OUR OUTCOMES

Striking the Balance with Tumelo Mokwena every Monday morning…

Good morning to our elders, brothers, sisters & all football fanatics. The month of August is always a great reminder of the role women have, still & will play in our communities, our country & universe.

Embrace Women…

Women are the worlds greatest ever gift, no matter our level of success, maturity & overall progression we all have a set or singular women who have shaped us. They all have that certain degree of wisdom, that has kept us going in the toughest of times & awesome support consistently. The  Bible also shows how Christ was born because of a woman, another great testament of how massive the power of women can produce greatness.

Patriarchy cannot continue to thrive when constantly women have shown they are capable & most importantly have produced the results. As men we cannot fight the battle for women but we can support & heed their call to equal conditions. The reality is that tomorrow it might be your daughter, would you be happy to see her  going through the difficulty women still have to face today. We need to start with the basic in appreciating our women, lets be more actively present & assist them. Women are a great force, they build nations, groom greats & are the best human version ever. Salute to all women & a awesome month to you!!! Watinta Abafazi Watinta Imbokodo!!!
